Challenges That Fit

Thanks for stopping by this week.  This weeks challenges are as follows:
1) Cuttlebug "Be Inspired #33".  Monograms and Elle Studio is their theme this week.  I just love monograms,  they can be dressed up or down and still looks so beautiful.
2) Chrisma Cardz "Going Dotty #21".  They would like to see dots or circles. I think my dots and circles worked out well for this gift card.
3) Paper Take Weekly - "Scrap This". They would like us to use our scraps to make a card. I definitely have plenty to choose from.
4) Cute Card #63- "bit o' bling" They are looking for bling.  Bling always make a card "pop".

I made this card the size of a business card. I designed the pop-up with my pazzles machine and cut the frame with the cricut cutter using the Tinker Bell Cartridge.  Have a wonderful weekend.

Tinks Dreaming Big

Greetings and thanks for stopping by,
I did this for three challenges:
1. Scrappy Frogs #5 - They would like to see "Fairies"
2. Creative Belli #66 - Their theme is "Graduation.
3. ABC - They are on letter P for "Pearls"

I cut the eyes and lips from white vinyl which works out really well because the parts are so tiny, then colored with sharpie markers.
Cricut Cartridges:

Graphically Speaking: "Dream Big" Cut @ 3.75"
Pazzles:

Challenges and a Wedding Card

I have a friend getting married in late June and made this for her bridal shower. This fits perfect with Caardvarks Challenge.  The challenge is to "Shape Up", any shape other that squares and rectangles. Over at Secret Crafter Saturday #33 their challenge is "New Beginnings". And at A Spoon Full of Sugar #53, they want to see lace.  Dress was cut from my Pazzles Inspiration cutter and embossed with Cuttlebug "Textile" and "Swirls" folder.

A Couple of Challenges

Inside of Card

This card was difficult to photograph, it does look a lot better IRL.  Anyways, this is for
Cuttlebug Challenge "Be Inspired 32", they asked to see "hearts and "butterflies".  And at 2 Sketches 4 You, this is their Sketch 26.  I used Cricut cartridge "Stretch Your Imagination" for the caterpillar and ticket frame.  Also "Indie Art" for the butterflies.

Paper: DCWV Pocket full of Posies Matstack And Classics

BBTB Challenge & Blog Hop - Storybook Frame

BBTB challenge this week is to use this frame in the Storybook Cartridge. Along with the challenge they are also doing another blog hop.  I got this idea from a video that I recently watched. It's by Butternut Sage,  I really like the one in the video because she shows an awesome faux leather technique. Thanks for stopping by.  Your comments are very much appreciated.

Creative Card Challenge Shape It

This is for the CCC, I'm not sure if it really fits, they would like to see a "shaped" card.  This card has a little shape.  Anyways, I used the "My Community" Cartridge for the card, embossed all the layers with cuttlebug folders.  Also cut the layers with white GP110 paper from Walmart and colored them with sharpie markers.

Creative Card Crew and CAS08 Challenge

CCC Challenge 10 - Minimal was the theme for this week. And over at SCS they have an on going challenge for CAS (Clean and Simple) which fit perfectly. The Gerbera Daisy is from Shirly @ Paper, Scissors, Ink, she designed this on the Cricut Design Studio and Inkscape. I also followed her directions regarding embossing each petal with a stylus and using a toothpick to curl the inner petals. In addition, I used my index finger and thumb to give it a little more shape. I also cased the embossing panel from here. I used my Scor-It tool to do the panel.
